Subject: LHC Velo wake field suppressor

Dear Francesco,
There is a gold coating foreseen on the LHCb UX85/1 Beryllium beampipe that we would like to avoid for safety reasons. It was foressen for the contact with the VELO wake field suppressor, but if without it the contact impedance is good enough we would not do it. Sergio made some tests to find out the contact impedance against a NEG coating. Would you have some time, lets say, next Monday 5/09 at 14:00 to discuss it?
